The Guardian writes about My 420 Tours, The ‘Napa Valley of Cannabis Tours’. A blog written in 2013 when My 420 Tours made its first movement into the Marijuana Tourism industry, explains My 420 Tours goals for its customers. “A big part of our role is to say that this can be a positive addition to the state,” said Matt Brown, previous co-founder of My 420 Tours. “There is a responsibility on ourselves to make sure it is absolutely above board and that it’s the kind of thing I can show off to my mom – a retiree in Missouri.” Colorado passed Amendment 64 last year which permits broad use of Cannabis including the “personal use and regulation of marijuana” for adults 21 and older.

My 420 Tours offers a packed schedule of cannabis cooking classes, hash-making workshops and concerts  by 420-friendly artists. Participants will not be able to buy marijuana – which would be illegal – but it will be shared with them. JJ Walker hopes that his company can boost the state’s tourism industry during its slowest month. But Colorado’s tourism office said it was too early to analyze the impact of Amendment 64.
