THE DOCTOR (DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY)
I was born in the San Fernando Valley of California, but moved out here as a wee little guy and grew up in south Denver. As a teenager, I went to California for school and got back here just as fast as I possibly could. Colorado is definitely the place I belong.
Most recently before joining My420Tours, I had been working in the outdoor industry as a wilderness guide, helping visitors enjoy a different kind of Colorado greenery through mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing and backpacking trips, as well as working on the retail product and marketing side of a few outdoor gear manufacturers.
I found my way to cannabis way, way back in the 2000s. I was a medical cannabis patient in California and became really good friends with one of my favorite budtenders. Knowing what my skills were and that I was eager to move back to Denver, he brought me out with him to work in a grow where I managed genetics and made concentrates, as well as helping out with marketing and management of one of their dispensaries. I was immediately impressed by how different and professional the cannabis industry was compared to what I had seen elsewhere. I love that I’ve had the opportunity to experience recreational cannabis legalization firsthand and watch the cannabis industry grow and mature into what it is today.
Favorite thing to buy at the dispensary: I like flower for the pleasurable, meditative experience of rolling and smoking a joint to unwind at the end of the day, but my true cannabis love is concentrates as they are the perfect marriage of flavor, efficiency and potency; plus the science behind making them excites the part of me that just likes to geek out on things and stay up late doing research.
