5 Fun Things to Do High in Colorado

Also, make sure to try some Rocky Mountain Oysters, one of the most iconic foods of Colorado.

Amusement Parks:

Next, Denver is home to two old amusement parks. If you’re looking for things to do high in Colorado, check out Elitch Gardens and Lakeside Amusement Park. Moreover, Elitch is a seasonal water park and amusement center with roller coasters and rides, as well as old fashioned snacks. Lakeside is a bit more reasonable, with low daily rates and per-ride fees. This allows you to wander in your haze without much of a financial commitment. 

The Great Outdoors:

Take advantage of the beautiful, sunny climate and head outdoors on a cannaventure. Colorado is one of the few places in the country loaded with trails. Not to mention campgrounds, scenic overlooks or disc golf course every few miles. With that said, they say that you can go on a different outdoor adventure every weekend. You can live your entire life and still not see all that the Colorado wilderness has to offer. 

The famed- Red Rocks Amphitheatre:

If you love concerts, and you love getting baked before, during or after them, then go to the famed Red Rocks. During warmer months, there are shows every week (if not daily) and they sell out quick. Even if you don’t know the band, that’s ok.  Try snagging a last minute ticket in the lot and take in the beautiful natural views while jamming to tunes and enjoying your high.
